Taking care of the legs: baths at home

I would like to immediately note that proper foot care consists not only of the use of a pedicure, scrub, cream or pumice stone. To make your legs look not only beautiful, but also healthy, you need to use other methods. These methods include massage, as well as foot baths. By themselves, these procedures are not so complicated, but the most useful. Foot baths add attractiveness, relax and rejuvenate the skin, as well as relieve swelling.

For people who have all the work going on in motion, it will be useful to familiarize yourself with refreshing foot baths. After all, many of these people, at the end of the day, feel a certain fatigue and heaviness in their legs. This can be caused by high heels and hot weather.

To get rid of these problems, use herbal baths. Best for this purpose, chamomile, St. John’s wort, lemon balm or plantain. Mint or lavender will give your feet a cool feeling. You can also use several herbs, it all depends on your preferences. To prepare all this, you need to pour boiling water over the herbs and leave them for an hour so that they are well infused. Then add the prepared tincture to the bath water. As for the temperature, it should not cause burns. Take a bath preferably for 15-20 minutes, but also do not exclude the option until the water cools completely.

No less useful is a bath of sea salt. To do this, you need to dissolve half a cup of salt in 3 liters of water. You can apply this procedure for 20 minutes. Sea salt refreshes the skin of the feet, cleanses the pores and removes puffiness.

Also, do not forget about the baths with essential oils of cinnamon or ginger. This tincture will quickly relieve you of fatigue in your legs. The preparation is very simple – you need to mix a few drops of this oil with two liters of water and immerse your legs there for just 15 minutes. The effect is amazing!

Another problem with the health of our feet is the appearance of edema. It should be noted that the baths can not fully cope with this issue, so you also need a doctor’s consultation. After all, edema can signal diseases of the kidneys, blood vessels of the legs, heart or liver. To get rid of this problem at least a little, we recommend using a bath with apple cider vinegar. First of all, you need to remember that the vinegar should be home-made. The other one simply won’t do any good or harm. Then add a few tablespoons to a couple of liters of water and take a bath for 15 minutes.

Another useful in the fight against edema will be a bath with lemon juice. For cooking, you will need half a lemon. This procedure not only improves blood circulation, but also tones the skin. The session duration is also 15 minutes.

The most unpleasant problem of the skin of the legs is considered to be increased sweating. This problem affects not only women, but also men. In our case, a good way to combat this nuisance is also the regular use of baths. Their main component should be infusions of herbs from sage, oak bark, pomegranate peel, etc. It is recommended to brew 3 tbsp. l. of herbal collection for half a liter of boiled water and at the same time let it brew for at least two hours.

To get rid of sweating feet, use baths with essential oils. You should use essential oils of orange, tangerine or lemon. It is these components that eliminate a strong unpleasant smell and normalize the process of sweating. To prepare, add a few drops and take a bath for at least 20 minutes. After application, you need to wipe your feet with a solution of boric acid (2%).

If the skin of your feet is rough and dry, then you definitely need to use the baths to soften and moisturize them.

For this, the most suitable procedure is with milk. For cooking, you will need half a cup of milk for a few liters of water, you need to immerse your legs there for 15 minutes.

Do not be lazy to allocate every day half an hour for the care of the legs so that they are not only beautiful, but also have a healthy appearance. After all, the use of baths is not such a difficult process, and it will not hit your pocket.

We wish you good luck!
