Vitaminum B2 TEVA – indications and dosage
Vitaminum B2 TEVA is a recommended drug:
- in vitamin B2 deficiencies and their prevention,
- in states of increased demand of the body for vitamin. B2 incl. in infections, fever, burns, diseases of the digestive system and biliary tract, hyperthyroidism, chronic stress states, pregnancy, breastfeeding, postoperative treatment, anemia, neuropathy,
- helpful in cracking the corners of the mouth,
- in inflammation of the mucous membranes of the corners of the mouth and labial red, and in dermatoses.
Drug dosage
Vitaminum B2 TEVA is in the form of capsules to be taken orally. For small children, administer after crushing.
adults
- Prophylactically 3 mg (1 tablet) 1-3 times / day.
- Healing 9-30 mg / day (3-10 tablets / day) in 3-5 doses. division
children
- Prophylactically 1,5-6 mg / day (0,5-2 tablets / day) in several doses. subdivision,
- Therapeutically in children of 3 years of age 3-9 mg (1-3 tablets) once a day or in 1-2 doses. subdivision,

Vitaminum B2 TEVA and contraindications
A contraindication to taking Vitaminum B2 TEVA is hypersensitivity to any of its ingredients.
Vitaminum B2 TEVA – warnings
- Vitamin B2, taken in high doses, can affect the results of some diagnostic tests.
- Patients with hereditary problems of galactose intolerance, the lactase deficiency or glucose-galactose malabsorption should not take Vitaminum B2 TEVA.
- Due to the presence of quinoline yellow, the drugmay cause allergic reactions.
- Pregnant and breastfeeding women should consult a doctor before taking the drug.
Vitaminum B2 TEVA with other drugs
- Tricyclic antidepressants and phenothiazine derivatives increase the body’s need for vitamin B2.
- Absorption of vitamin B2 from the gastrointestinal tract reduces alcohol.
Vitaminum B2 TEVA – side effects
While taking Vitaminum B2 TEVA, they may occur skin hypersensitivity reactions (rash). The urine may turn yellow, which should not be alarming.
