Tafen Nasal 32 µg, -64 µg is a recommended preparation:

1. in the prevention and treatment of symptoms of seasonal and perennial allergic rhinitis,
2. to treat signs and symptoms of nasal polyps.

Contraindications to the use of Tafen Nasal 32 µg, -64 µg are:

1. hypersensitivity to any component of the preparation,
2. use in children under 6 years of age.

Dosage Tafen Nasal 32 µg, -64 µg

To obtain the effective therapeutic effect of Tafen Nasal 32 µg, -64 µg, it should be used regularly, according to the dosing schedule. The full effect of the preparation usually occurs after a few days of regular use. The full clinical effect of the preparation occurs within 1-2 weeks. After this time, aim for the lowest dose that provides effective symptom control. Your doctor will determine the duration of treatment.

The container of the preparation should be shaken before each use. Before first use, press the pump several times (5-10 times) until a uniform mist is visible, holding the canister vertically and pointing the tip of the dispenser into the air. These activities should also be repeated every time the preparation has not been used for more than 24 hours. Clean the dispenser and replace the cap after each use.

1. Adults and children after 6 years of age: initially, the usual dose is 4 doses of 32 µg or 2 doses of 64 µg in each nostril once a day in the morning (total daily dose 1 µg);
2. alternatively 2 doses of 32 µg or 1 dose of 64 µg in each nostril twice daily, morning and evening (total daily dose 2 µg) can alternatively be used.
3. Once your symptoms are under control, your doctor will prescribe the lowest dose that controls your symptoms for maintenance treatment.
