T-zone care

Do the forehead, nose and chin require more care than the rest of the face? Yes, the T-zone is often problematic and moody. We’ll show you how to deal with it.

Features of the skin in the T-zone

To begin with, we recall that the T-zone is a conditional figure that connects the forehead, nose and chin. Visually, it resembles the letter “T”, hence the name. In this area, increased sebum secretion is often observed, which means that it is more prone to the appearance of imperfections such as blackheads and acne.

Problems in the T-zone are found mainly in those whose skin is of mixed type. Perhaps it is the most common. Knowing that the skin is just like that, it is worth taking a few tips into service, and then you will have to use matting wipes less often.

The main problem of combination skin is oily sheen and black dots in the T-zone. The sebaceous glands work more actively here, and more sebum is released than, say, on the cheeks.

As a result, there are:

  • oily sheen;

  • expanded pores;

  • comedones;

  • inflammatory rashes.

But the list of problems does not end there. Usually combination skin is prone to sensitivity, peeling, and is often dehydrated. So caring for it requires patience and a systematic approach.
