Symptoms of intestinal polyps
As a rule, intestinal polyps, especially smaller ones, do not lead to no symptoms, hence the importance of undergoing screening and colonoscopy if necessary. However, sometimes polyps cause the following symptoms:
– bleeding through the rectum;
– Blood in the stool;
– Changes in bowel movements that last longer than a week (especially constipation or diarrhea);
– Abdominal pain.
