Symptoms of inguinal hernia

Often asymptomatic, inguinal hernia can progress and cause the following symptoms:

  • Swelling in the groin;
  • Pain, especially when bending over, carrying something heavy, pushing or coughing;
  • Burning sensation.

In the event of a strangulation:

  • Very severe pain;
  • Nausea;
  • Vomiting;
  • Absence of stool.
