Symptoms of athlete’s foot (fungal infection)
Le athlete’s foot may look different from person to person and be more or less extensive.
- The skin between the toes cracks and peels. The small white skins become more and more numerous as the infection progresses;
- Redness appears in the infected area, as well as a burning sensation;
- A nauseating odor sometimes emanates from the feet;
- Sometimes small blisters (vesicles) filled with fluid appear;
- Sometimes the infection reaches the sole of the foot.
Warning. The majority of people don’t notice that they have got athlete’s foot because there may not be any discomfort in getting attention. On the other hand, if we examine the skin between the toes, the signs are obvious.
