Symptoms of anorexia nervosa

In the literature, we often find two types of anorexia nervosa:
Restrictive type anorexia:
This type of anorexia is mentioned when the anorexic person does not resort to purgative behaviors (vomiting, taking laxatives, etc.) but to a very strict diet with intensive physical exercise.
Anorexia with binge eating:
Some people have both symptoms of anorexia nervosa and bulimia, including compensatory behavior (taking purgatives, vomiting). In this case, we are not talking about bulimia but anorexia with binge eating.
