Symptoms of heart attack

Cardiologists emphasize that a heart attack usually occurs suddenly and without warning. However, there are ailments that may foreshadow impending problems. Interestingly, some of them may appear even several weeks before the heart attack.

For example, chest pain often occurs as early as three weeks before a heart attack. In the period preceding the infarction, patients also report:

  1. excessive sweating
  2. greater fatigue
  3. shortness of breath
  4. palpitations
  5. problems with sleeping
  6. stomach pain
  7. feeling anxious.
