  At what age to start classes

Babies begin to get acquainted with water from 3 or 4 months. Toddlers who have been engaged in infant swimming feel very free in the water, and are ahead of their peers in further learning. But even if the babies arrive at the age of 5 or 6, they have a chance to become champions.

Swimming for children, diving

Teaching little swimmers is a whole science, it needs a special approach. On the one hand, diligence, as when training adult athletes, and on the other hand, the lessons should be fun and interesting, like a game. A children’s instructor, in addition to professional knowledge, must have a pedagogical talent.

It is not easy for kids to learn to swim, they are taught to do it in a certain style – crawl or breaststroke, this is the pluses of training with a trainer. In the future, it is very difficult to retrain a baby if he started swimming incorrectly.

Parents sometimes have doubts about choosing a section. If there are no medical contraindications and there is a great desire to go to the pool, then there is no need to doubt. Exercise will bring undeniable benefits. Perhaps, in the first year of visiting the section, colds will worsen, this does not mean that the baby cannot swim. It’s just that the body is being rebuilt, and you need to tolerate the disadvantages of adaptation a little.

Young athletes have to combine training with study. Therefore, parents should do their best to help and inspire them to win. A visit to the sports section is a health promotion or even a way to get a future profession. If a child does not become a world champion, but is in love with sports, he can make a good coach.

For a water sports lesson, you will need the following things:

  • a convenient backpack in which you can fold everything you need;
  • swimming trunks or swimsuit;
  • flip flops with non-slip soles;
  • rubber cap;
  • medium-sized towel;
  • good quality goggles for swimmers.

Exercise in water affects the entire body of the child, prevents many diseases and gives pleasure.

Water sports evenly load all the muscles of the body, contributing to their harmonious development. Movement coordination improves, lung volume increases. A child who actively communicates with water is less sick, develops better, grows faster. Swimming does not harm the body; it is often used for medicinal purposes.

Sports swimming, junior champions

This sport is used to rehabilitate people with musculoskeletal problems. Some champions came to swim to recover from a serious illness, and as a result, they won not only a physical illness, but also their rivals in competitions.

In children attending sports training, the best character traits are brought up – the desire to win and respect for the opponent.

For children at school, each sporting activity begins with a gymnastic warm-up. Only then the coach releases them into the water. The duration of the lesson is no more than 45 minutes.

After the pool, be sure to shower. If it is cold season, before going outside you need to dry your hair and dry your ears well.

In the first year of training for children of 7 years old, the total weekly training time does not exceed 5 hours. The number of teaching hours is increasing every year.

Kids are not given a lot of stress, classes and competitions should arouse their interest. Perhaps some of them will achieve victories in the future in big sports, but even if this does not happen, they will grow up to be healthy and strong people.
