It is known that sugar and healthy teeth are like an oxymoron – they do not go hand in hand. However, sticky products are even more harmful. They adhere to the teeth, increasing the risk of caries. More important than the sugar content in sweets is how long it stays on the teeth. However, we have good news: chocolate, especially bitter, has advantages – it contains less sugar and has bactericidal tannins.
They just ruin our teeth. A statistical Pole drinks up to 50 liters of carbonated drinks a year. Both the sugar and the bubbles in it are harmful to your teeth. They weaken the enamel and lead a very straight path to caries.
Lemon water and citrus juice can also damage tooth enamel. Of course, drunk in large quantities. However, there is a simple solution that will protect our teeth: let’s drink citrus juices through a straw. Of course, it will be even healthier if we replace the juices with still mineral water.

A further consequence is only the formation of a cavity. This warning does not only apply to spirits. It is also dangerous to drink large amounts of white wine. The acid it contains destroys the enamel, exposing the dentin. Rinsing the teeth with water is helpful in this situation. Of course while drinking wine.
Let’s eat them. Although high in calories, they are healthy. They contain unsaturated fatty acids, reducing the risk of heart disease. However, remember not to crack the shells of the nuts with your teeth under any circumstances. You can easily damage them and even break them. However, let’s not avoid hard foods, such as bread crusts. Don’t forget: biting strengthens the gums.
Remember that ready-made salad dressings, mustard, and ketchup contain vinegar or, for example, citric acid. Acidic substances reduce the density of the enamel, which leads to tooth sensitivity. Some substances in ready-made sauces and spices can also cause tooth enamel to dissolve or crack.
