sweating? It’s not a problem! Home remedies for excessive sweating

This problem affects many people and affects different parts of the body – hands, armpits, face, feet, groin. Although the secretion of sweat is a normal element of human physiology, necessary for proper functioning, the symptoms associated with hyperhidrosis appear in different people, most often between the ages of 20 and 30. What are the reasons for this and how to fight excessive sweating?

Excessive sweating is caused by both genetic factors and other causes related to lifestyle or body conditions. In a natural way, sweating increases during elevated body temperature (fever), stress, strong emotions, hot weather and physical exertion.

Sweat is secreted in excessive amounts most often when a person:

  • Has fluctuating hormone levels, such as during menopause or puberty
  • Uses drugs that affect the thermoregulatory and nervous systems,
  • Eats too spicy food
  • He suffers from diseases such as cancer, kidney disease, diabetes, hyperthyroidism, etc.

What causes excessive sweating?

The first significant consequence is, of course, the difficulty in interpersonal relations. A person who sweats excessively feels ashamed of their ailment, which makes them try to avoid contact with others. It is very important to maintain proper hygiene in case of excessive sweating, because sweat itself is odorless, and only when it comes into contact with bacteria and impurities causes an unpleasant odor.

Excessively moist skin is also the cause of the multiplication of fungi and bacteria in individual parts of the body, or local sore spots – e.g. in obese people, in the groin area and other skin folds.

How to fix it?

  • Use sweat regulators in the form of gels, powders and antiperspirants that will normalize the work of the glands,
  • If this does not help, use sweat pills whose main ingredient is sage extract,
  • Consider taking natural supplements for sweating. They are available in pharmacies without a prescription, and their composition should include: nettle herb extract (eliminates water from the body), sage extract (normalizes and inhibits excessive sweating), horsetail extract (supports the kidneys), lemon balm extract ( relaxes and maintains a good mood),
  • Your diet should include plenty of fiber and zinc. Eliminate highly processed foods, hot spices and caffeine,
  • Twice a week, take baths in water with the addition of infusions of chamomile, oak bark, willow leaves, birch or sage,
  • Regular baths in cool water are recommended, preferably with the addition of special washing preparations that reduce sweating,
  • Wear clean and airy clothes, give up artificial materials,
  • If you sweat under your armpits, make sure you depilate them regularly, because sweat accumulates on the hair.
