Sweat and odor-repellent armpit liners: practical and comfortable. Video
Many people encounter the smell of sweat, soaking underwear, warm and outerwear. This problem is relevant not only in summer, but also in cold weather – as soon as you enter a warm room in a sweater, jacket or coat, you start to sweat. Humidity and unpleasant fluids can seriously complicate life, because not everyone has the opportunity to change and wash outerwear daily. An extremely useful device comes to the rescue – armpit liners (armpits).

Armpit liners: first exposure
Hygienic underarm pads appeared on the Russian market not so long ago, but they can already be bought in some departments of household chemicals and household goods, or ordered in an online store. The disposable liners are specially designed to keep the garment sweat-free. Modern products made from loose cellulose perfectly absorb moisture and retain odor. As a rule, materials and substances that cause allergic reactions are not used for their production. Liners with antibacterial silver ions are especially appreciated – they do not allow sweat to decompose, and therefore, to spread unpleasant vibes.
One side of the cotton liner, which should be close to the body, is usually white. The other surface is often made bodily so that the underarm does not show through the clothing. It is on this side that the adhesive layer is protected by paper. Using modern hygiene products is very simple: remove the paper cover, then carefully stick the liner to the wrong side of your garment. Each pad has a center fold, the line of which should be in the middle of the armpit.
Thin underarm pads can be used for sleeveless garments. To prevent the lining from peeking out of the outfit, cut out the part of the required shape and carefully glue it, stepping back about 0,5 cm from the armhole line
Correctly glued, the liner takes the shape of the body and is hardly felt when worn. Underarms can be used in conjunction with deodorant and not be afraid that your clothes will get stains from cosmetic products. If desired, a few drops of any perfume can be applied to the absorbent layer – it will not fade for a long time. If the need arises, tear off the old liner and replace it – the adhesive composition allows the liner to both quickly fix on the canvas and easily peel off and not damage the fabric.
When are sanitary pads needed
Despite the abundance of antiperspirant deodorants in modern retail outlets, the absorbent underarm pads quickly found a buyer. Here is just a small list of cases in which they may be needed:
- increased sweating
- playing sports
- travel and other situations when water and soap are not available
- allergy to cosmetic deodorants
- use of clothes that are contraindicated for frequent washing
If the armpit liner does not hold very firmly to the fabric, secure it with two or three blind stitches.
Before you buy a pack of armpit pads, it is recommended that you carefully read the information on the packaging. Products are available in different sizes, so you can choose the best option according to the style of clothing and your own dimensions.
