PSYchology

At first glance, Vadim and Masha are a great couple. He is a young, successful yuppie. She is smart, talented, the beloved daughter of wealthy parents.

But in reality they are separated by a huge distance. Vadim grew up without a father, with a half-crazy mother, in a cramped apartment on the outskirts, and what his wife calls «spiritual requests» is a luxury for him. Masha, who does not understand the meaning of the word «money» and is accustomed to value education and intelligence above all else, languishes with her pragmatic husband. The conclusion following from Svetlana Sachkova’s novel is paradoxical: if people are not ready to accept each other’s otherness, even the most sincere and deep love will not save them from mutual misunderstanding.
