On the eve of Holy Week and coinciding with the Father’s Day celebrations, an interesting Tapas route is prepared in the ancient Phoenician settlement of Lepe, on the banks of the Río Piedras.
There are already 10 editions that the Choquero town hall of Lepe has sponsored the event, and again for this year 2016, the consistory will help spread the message and the content of this eleventh edition of the Route of the Tapa de Lepe, in collaboration with the General Association of Entrepreneurs of Lepe (Agelepe) and Islantilla Golf Resort.
From tomorrow, Thursday 17, until next Tuesday, March 22, you will be able to participate in the excellent culinary creations that the local hospitality establishments have already completed, to offer the visitor the full potential of their products and creations.
Not surprisingly, the aforementioned gastronomic route can be visited through 18 establishments that will make a total of 4 different tapas each available to the visitor, thus completing the excellent variety of 72 Tapas.
The locals participating in this new edition are about to hang their posters, demanding the influx of the local or visiting public, to be able to taste a tapa with a drink for the single cost of € 3.

All participants of the Route of the Tapa de Lepe, may be protagonists through the raffle that the organization of the event has prepared, with prizes allocated by several commercial companies that sponsor it, and the only requirement to qualify for them, having been in Lepe, having participated in the Route and of course have tried at least one Tapa from four participating establishments.
An opportunity to visit Lepe and at the same time discover something more than its architecture, temperature and humor, through the local gastronomy in Tapa format.
