Milk is a product with a fairly light texture. The degree of its density depends on the composition. It includes plant extracts, moisturizing ingredients and oils, which, together with sunscreens, work to prevent photoaging, dryness and pigmentation.

The fact that milk not only moisturizes the skin, but also serves as a screen for ultraviolet radiation, says the abbreviation SPF – Sun Protection Factor (sun protection factor).

The formula of milk-sunscreen includes the following components:

  1. a system of sun filters that block ultraviolet rays; filters exist physical (titanium dioxide, zinc oxide) and chemical (parsol 1789, octocrylene, mexoryl SX, mexoryl XL);

  2. caring substances: vitamins and extracts of medicinal plants, valuable oils;

Selection and application rules

How do you know if sun protection milk is right for you? Here we advise you to focus on your own feelings.

If you are sure that you dry skin, then yes, milk is your choice.

For oily, blemish-prone and acne-prone skin preferably lotions and dry sprays that do not cause clogging of pores (read the description on the package) and have good sebum-regulating qualities.

Milk should be used in the same way as cream.

  • Apply in a thick layer, do not spare the product and do not miss a single centimeter of skin. Treat even those areas that are hidden under a swimsuit.

  • Reapply every two hours and after swimming.
