Carefree holidays can be conducive to intimate intercourse. If we have been careless, we may notice disturbing symptoms such as itching, discharge and pain in the genital area. Although we know that we should go to a venereologist, we are ashamed – unnecessarily. The diagnosis of venereal diseases can be carried out in the comfort of your own home.
First of all – discretion
Summer is conducive to making new acquaintances that may lead to intimate relationships. Sexual contacts with strangers are often mentioned as the causes of venereal diseases, which we are ashamed of and therefore do not want to see a venereologist. However, we should not delay performing special tests if the symptoms, such as burning intimate areas or blistering, intensify.
In this case, however, we do not have to go to the clinic. We can do a package of diagnostic tests for venereal diseases at home.
If we decide to perform the tests at home, a qualified nurse will come to the address indicated by us to collect blood. The package includes, among others tests to detect antigens responsible for hepatitis B, hepatitis C, syphilis and chlamydiosis.
The results will be available for collection after two business days. They will be available on a dedicated website, which means that we will find out everything without leaving home. If we are still concerned, we can ask the venereologist a question, who will assess whether we should undergo a specialist examination:

Genetic testing for men – in the comfort of your own home
Men who change sexual partners frequently are at a much higher risk of STDs. Genetic testing will be indicated if the following symptoms appear:
- Discomfort (burning, itching) during micturition;
- Pain and / or swelling in the testicles;
- Inflammation around the rectum;
- Arthritis.
Genetic testing can be done discreetly in the comfort of your own home. Therefore, we will avoid the feeling of shame that may accompany us during our stay at the clinic.
- Genetic tests for men for sexually transmitted infections – from PLN 89
After buying the offer, we will receive a kit intended for home examination within 3 days. It will be described in detail, which will eliminate any doubts not only when conducting tests, but also when storing the material.
The results will be available 5-6 days after submitting the material, so we will be able to react quickly in the event of a worrying diagnosis.
Security is the key
Symptoms of sexually transmitted diseases can affect not only the genital area but also other parts of the body. Because of this, seemingly imperceptible symptoms can develop.
If we are not sure whether we have been infected with a venereal disease during sexual contact, we should perform a diagnostic test package, which includes not only tests that enable the diagnosis of hepatitis B or hepatitis C, but also:
- Screening for HIV infection;
- Examination for the diagnosis of syphilis;
- Herpes simplex virus examination;
- IgM test, which will indicate current infection;
- IgM and IgG tests for chlamydiosis.
The venereal disease test package will be performed in a facility chosen by the patient. You do not need to fast, but you should wear comfortable clothes.
- Diagnostic tests for sexually transmitted diseases – quickly and discreetly – from PLN 329
E-visit to the venereologist – maximum discretion
If you are concerned about the results, we can arrange an on-line appointment with a venereologist who will be able to correctly diagnose you. During the consultation, he or she may ask about various details about the symptoms signaled. In addition, we can report to a venereologist directly if we noticed symptoms that would indicate infection with a venereal disease.
- E-visit to a venereologist – specialist advice from a specialist doctor
In order to maintain maximum discretion during an on-line visit, we should also take care of the appropriate conditions ourselves, including making sure that we are left alone at home or that no one will disturb us by unexpectedly entering the room where we talk to the doctor.
