Elena Myshlyaeva, top stylist, Hair & make up artist of the Savannah salon, told us about how to look beautiful even in the heat of summer, how to replace foundation in summer and what needs to be done to make the skin glow with a healthy shine.
During the summer, our best foundation is the sun. Therefore, we sunbathe more (not forgetting about SPF products) and put less cosmetics on our face: I suggest using only care products and abandoning tonal creams, bb and cc products for the summer.
If you have small imperfections on your skin, such as acne, scars, age spots, etc., this is not a reason to apply a thick foundation in a thick layer all over your face. For this, there are special correctors that are applied pointwise to the problem area.
It is important to choose a corrector that is ideal for you in terms of its composition, structure, color and density. And the best thing is to buy a palette of correctors with at least a minimal range of tones.
To keep your skin glowing and looking fresh, mix the creamy shimmer and your daytime face cream in a 1: 2 ratio. If your skin has visible imperfections, you can mix the shimmer with your foundation. Excellent creamy textures of shimmers are presented in products of the brands Rouge Bunny Rouge, Becca, Smashbox.
Summer is the time for brave people and bright colors! Right now juicy, bright blush will be appropriate: peach, coral, pink. They perfectly accentuate the tan and refresh the face. I prefer to use a creamy blush: they always look more natural and unobtrusive than dry ones.
Creamy blush is very easy to apply, the main thing here is not to overdo it with brightness. And you can apply them both with a sponge, and with your fingers or with a wet brush. Applying the blush with a wet brush can create a more natural look. Chanel and Inglot brands have beautiful colors of cream blush.
Our main weapon! But this does not mean at all that you need to “draw” yourself smokey ice or thick arrows in the style of Amy Winehouse right in the morning. Eyes can be made expressive simply by using natural shades of shadows, correctly placing shadows and highlights.
In the summer, I advise you to always apply a revitalizing serum to the eye area at night. It can be oil-based or aqua-based – choose what is right for you. I really like Khiels serum, by the way, they have both oil and aqua-based serums.
Do not be afraid of bright colors such as neon blue, burgundy, emerald. Now on the market there is a huge variety of mascaras of various shades of the color palette! Such brands as Dior, Yves Saint Laurent, Inglot, Gosh have very interesting colors in their arsenal.
It is important to correctly determine which color will highlight and emphasize your natural eye shade. Summer is a time of experimentation, so why not try to become a little brighter and more interesting with bright eyelashes?
One of the main tools of seduction. Therefore, I strongly recommend everyone to take care of their condition. Dry, chapped lips can only look beautiful in a magazine in some fashion story, but not in life!
Use more balm to keep your lips moist and juicy. My favorite is Khiels, it instantly restores lips, making them incredibly soft and sexy! Before applying the balm, be sure to use a scrub, otherwise you will not see any moisturizing effect.
If you have sensitive lips, you should use a scrub no more than once every two to three weeks and choose a scrub with a light texture. If you are an active smoker, then the scrub should be used more often. Also in the summer I advise you to use bright matte lipsticks: red, berry or fuchsia.
My favorite is Inglot pigments. Very persistent and beautiful. They can be applied with either a dry or a dense wet brush for a sharper, more vibrant effect. A great product that can transform your makeup from daytime to evening makeup in one minute!
This is what really should always be with us: a clean face and beautiful, natural eyebrows! This is what makes our face expressive. I love wide, natural eyebrows and always advise my clients to use eyebrow gel. Firstly, it fixes your drawing, and secondly, it fixes the hairs in the direction you need.
If you tint your eyebrows with eyeshadow or pencil, it is best to do so with a beveled brush. Eyebrow markers are a good alternative to this method. Everything related to eyebrows, I trust the Anastasia BeverlyHills brand. If your eyebrows quickly fade in the sun, you can use a long-lasting eyebrow tint.
