Hot weather, frequent contact with water, such as in swimming pools, swimming pools or in the sea, are conducive to intimate infections. Many women have a problem with this type of ailments during the summer. How to relax on vacation without worrying about unpleasant problems? Here are some tips.
- Be sure to change clothes after bathing – most of us are calmly waiting for our bathing suit to dry on us. However, humidity and tight bikinis in high temperatures create ideal conditions for infection. Therefore, it is necessary to change into dry clothes. For the same reason, we should not sit in a wet towel.
- Use appropriate intimate hygiene fluids – they help maintain the correct pH. They also have the properties of soothing abrasions of the epidermis and the formation of infections.
- Wear cotton underwear. If you wear underwear made of artificial materials on hot days, it may overheat and increase humidity – suitable conditions for e.g. fungi. Underwear should also be washed in delicate hypoallergenic preparations that prevent allergies.
- Compose a first aid kit. If we already have a problem with the intimate area, we should have basic products to help in such situations. It is best to ask your gynecologist what medications or preparations may be helpful in such situations.
- Use insoles – they will keep your underwear clean. To avoid discomfort, let’s change them often.

If you are wondering which is better – a tampon or a sanitary napkin, you can decide for yourself. The most important thing is that they are hygienic and provide you with comfort and confidence. Disposable wet wipes are very helpful for refreshing. We can use them after visiting the toilet or when the conditions do not allow us to wash ourselves in normal conditions – while camping, in tents, when traveling by bus or train.
