Do not clean a damp suede product: first, the thing must be dried. If shoes are cleaned so that they do not deform during drying, they are stuffed with paper. Before removing a complex stain from a suede product, the thing is subjected to steam treatment. Steam itself is not a cleaning agent; steam treatment is only an auxiliary method to help get rid of contamination. To do this, boil water in a container and hold the product over steam for 3-5 minutes.

The surface is then brushed with a metal bristle brush. A cleanser is applied to heavily contaminated places, consisting of the following components: – 1 tsp. 10% ammonia; – 4 tsp. water.

The components are mixed, then a solution is applied to the dirty area with a sponge and the product is carefully processed.

Ammonia can be replaced with 9% table vinegar (1 tsp)

If grease gets on the suede product, the traces of it are wiped off with gasoline. Apply a little gasoline to the stained area and gently brush the problem area with a brush. Also, greasy stains from suede are washed with a cleaning agent, for the preparation of which the following components are needed: – 1 glass of milk; – 1 tsp. baking soda.

Warm milk is mixed with baking soda and the solution is used to clean the stain.

To clean a brown suede product, such as shoes, use coffee grounds. It is applied to the contaminated surface and the product is treated with a stiff brush. Next, the suede is covered with a water-repellent impregnation. After such cleaning, the product will keep its purity and freshness for a long time.

In no case should you dry suede products near heating devices. Suede should only dry naturally and at room temperature

To remove dirt from white suede, it is recommended to prepare a cleaning solution with the following ingredients: – a small amount of mild detergent; – 5 parts of water; – 1 part of ammonia.

The components are thoroughly mixed, then the cleansing mixture is applied to the stained area, carefully treated this area and the product is left to dry.
