Sudden Rapid Childbirth: A Story in Pictures

Jess and Travis Hogan are the parents of five adorable girls. Another pregnancy, and the doctor on ultrasound reports good news: the couple will finally have a boy! Hurray, he will dilute the maiden kingdom in the Hogan family. The boy even came up with a name in advance – Max.

Pregnancy proceeded easily, calmly and, in general, as usual. The due date was getting closer and closer, but the contractions did not start in any way. Jess even began to worry: what if you need a cesarean, since Max is so leisurely? The baby seemed to have heard the thoughts of the mother. The contractions began suddenly and immediately with such intensity that the parents rushed headlong to the hospital: giving birth at home was not part of Jess’s plans. On the way, she managed to call the photographer, who was supposed to film the birth, and shouted into the phone: “I’m going to the hospital, catch up!”

Photographer Tammy Karin grabbed a camera and rushed to the hospital. She made it in time – she ran into the emergency room before Jess’s car parked in the parking lot. Which, by the way, was no longer up to the pictures: she was giving birth. The reception area at this time was empty, only a sleepy nurse at the reception. Tammy and Travis rushed around the department, calling for help at least someone. But either at half past three in the morning in this hospital it was not accepted to rush, or no one took their cries seriously, Jess had to give birth right in the corridor.

“Oh my God, it’s begun,” the woman squeezed out in a trembling voice and began to pull off her pants. The husband helped as much as he could. And the photographer was doing her job: running around with a camera and filming, filming, filming … The medics arrived in time when Travis had almost caught the child. Jess was laid on the floor (on the floor, Karl!) Right in the hospital corridor. “He’s here!” – shouted the midwife, spreading the baby on the mother’s breast. Who didn’t care if she was on the floor or anywhere else. Only after that they pulled up the gurney and took Jess to the ward. The clock was 3 hours 38 minutes. Hi, Max.

Everything is fine with mom and baby. Jess is even happy: “I gave birth myself, without any intervention, we are both healthy. 2920 grams, 50 centimeters. Our son. Our last child. Our only boy. My fastest delivery. I still can’t believe it. ” But it’s impossible not to believe. After all, they have an incredibly cool photo story made in the hospital.
