The subject is the party that makes the impact. Object — the party that is affected. For example, if I explain “the way to the station,” then I am the subject of the relationship. And if I went to the theater, then the actors will be the subject, and I will be the object.
On the other hand, subject-object relations are often considered in psychology as relations between non-equals, where one person considers himself a full-fledged person, and the other — not quite. In this view, the object is usually considered to be another person who has no prospects to rise to our level, is seen as something simpler, with a simple set of needs. With whom we do not talk, as with a person, but whom we simply use — and are ready to easily replace it with another from a number of proposals. If a man treats a woman like that, then a woman starts treating a man like that.
