Straight, thick, long hair does not hold very well in evening styling with curls popular this season – the curl does not hold under their weight. Elena Korobova, hair stylist, at the beauty festival in Yekaterinburg, demonstrated her author’s method, with which the wave and volume will last for several days!
These curls will last up to 4 days!
We will work with an iron or a curling iron of 32 diameters. The hairstyle will suit both a wedding dress and a business suit.
Divide the hair into two parts. We make a vertical parting in the back in the center, we take a strand the length of the working cloth of the iron, and two centimeters wide – depending on the density of the hair. We hold the strand perpendicular to the head, take the iron so that its nose looks down at a slight angle. Just like in the 4th photo.
We grab a strand and turn it on ourselves one whole turn.
We unfold the iron. Then we scroll in the opposite direction. So you need to scroll and change direction along the entire length of the hair. We only act through a turn! We fix the resulting strand with dry varnish, which does not give a white bloom, does not stick, and it is very plastic. By the way, the hairstyle looks more natural if the ends are a little straight.
We straighten the curl with our fingers, not a comb. On the root part, we drive the iron more slowly, since there are more hairs there, and they are thick.
Thus, we curl the hair at the back.
We pass an elastic band between two invisible ones. We stick one into the hair. We wrap the tail with an elastic band, fix the second invisibility on the other side of our tail. This design will make it easy to disassemble the hairstyle.
We curl the hair over the ponytail in the same way.
We collect the hair in a ponytail again. We will have three ponytails, which will add volume to the hair and keep the length. If necessary, comb the layers / tails we need a little from the inside strictly at the base so that it cannot be seen from the outside.
We pin the hair on the back of the head so that it does not interfere. We curl the hair on the sides, closing the temporal cavities. Some people call them a receding hairline, in fact, this is such hair growth.
We remove them in the third tail. We divide the remaining strands of the face according to the usual parting.
We comb the hair a little. We curl them in the direction away from ourselves, holding the iron as in the photo, making full turns. Why is it so? If you curl your hair to your face, then the curl will constantly fall on your face and come into contact with makeup – this is uncomfortable.
We remove the front curls back, stabbing them with invisible ones.

And some more tips.
For the hair length of our model, for greater relief, we did about 5-6 turns with the iron. If you want smoother waves, do about 3-4 or work only with the middle part – you get a more “beachy” version.
There is no need to do a hairstyle on freshly washed hair – electrical appliances will evaporate moisture from them, so there will be a cannon halo over the hairstyle, which will give it a sloppy look. Mine either the night before, or at least a few hours in advance.
