Styling curly hair: tips from a Wella stylist

Playful curls
Step 1… Wash your hair with shampoo and be sure to apply a conditioner balm, it will soften the curls, make them silky and facilitate styling.
Step 2… Apply a styling spray to dry hair. You can use a shine spray to add extra shine to your hair. Comb through your hair, spreading the product over the entire length.
Step 3… Apply a styling lather designed for long hair. Don’t overdo it! The product should be about the size of a walnut; more of it will make your hair sticky and stale. Blow dry your hair, being careful to direct a stream of warm air along the growth of your hair to prevent it from frizzing. At the roots, lift your hair slightly with your hands to create extra volume.
Step 4… If your hair is initially straight, divide it into equal strands and use a curler to create curls. Curl your hair starting from the roots! Twist the tips additionally.
Step 5… Use long hair spray for perfect hold.

Stylish curls
Step 1… Apply styling fluid to slightly damp hair. It will soften your hair. Liquid products better penetrate the hair structure, smoothen open scales, which is especially good for hair that has been lightened and other chemical influences.
Step 2… Blow dry your hair. First, dry the hair at the roots by lifting it up with a large-diameter brush. Following the same comb, pulling along the length and curling at the ends.
Step 3… Twist the front strands (shortest) in the opposite direction. Hold the comb upright by curling your hair back and blow-drying.
Step 4… Use hairspray for long-lasting hold. Spray it from a long distance, the product will be distributed evenly. The varnish will fix the hairstyle without sticking the hair together.

Step 1… Apply a small amount of styling foam to damp hair to thicken hair without weighing it down. If you have very long or thick hair, increase the amount.
Step 2… Part your hair into sections. Blow dry your hair by pulling it out with a comb. Dry each section separately. The rest of the hair, so as not to interfere, secure with a barrette.
Step 3… Select the bangs and with a straightening styler (preferably with an ionization function so that the hair does not frizz) smooth it so that it is perfectly straight.
Step 4… If your hair is not smooth enough, also run a styler over it to straighten it, and then collect it at the back of your head in a tight ponytail or braid.
Step 5… Spray your bangs and ponytail / braid with shine spray.

Delicate smoothness
Step 1… Apply Wellaflex Styling and Repair Milk with jojoba oil to damp hair, which simultaneously provides elastic hold and intense nourishment to the hair.
Step 2… Blow dry your hair. Direct the stream of warm air from top to bottom to prevent them from loosening when drying. Use a brush if your hair is slightly curly and needs to be pulled out.
Step 3… Take a straightener and smooth your hair layer by layer. Having secured the bulk of the hair at the crown, separate small strands and straighten the hair, starting from the back of the head.
Step 4… After all the strands have been straightened, fix with varnish from a distance of 20 cm to add extra shine.
