For nails to be strong and grow quickly, you should include in the menu foods rich in vitamins A and B. We are talking about carrots, fresh herbs, liver, tomatoes, eggs, cabbage, sprouted wheat grains. Also, calcium, which is found in lean meat, lean fish, dairy products, and legumes, will help strengthen the nail plates. Consider one important nuance: due to the regular use of coffee, the absorption of calcium by the body is significantly impaired, so it is better to replace such a drink with milk, green tea, and freshly squeezed juices. Finally, remember that your nails can become brittle and weak due to iodine deficiency. To remedy this, include spinach and seaweed in your diet.
How to strengthen your nails at home
One of the simplest and most effective ways to strengthen the nail plates is to alternate lemon compresses and iodine baths. Every morning, you should soak a cotton swab in fresh lemon juice and press it against your nails. Do not rinse your hands after this procedure. In the evening, you need to use special baths: add 3 drops of iodine and 1 tsp to a glass of warm water. soda, and then dipped in the resulting liquid fingers for 5-7 minutes.

An oil mask will also help to solve the problem of weakened peeling nails, which is recommended to be done no more than twice a week. After that, you should put on gloves on your hands and leave the mask for several hours. It is most convenient to perform the procedure in the evening and leave the remedy on the nails until the morning.
If you do not want to prepare masks, baths and compresses yourself, buy vitamin E capsules at the pharmacy and rub the liquid contained in them into your nails. The procedure should be repeated daily.
