A stopper is a very simple and very convenient bartender’s device that allows any alcoholic drink (champagne, sparkling wine, etc.) to retain its aroma, taste and not lose carbon dioxide. There are two types of stoppers: plastic and metal.
Stopper for wine and champagne
First of all, a stopper should be understood not as an ordinary factory cork, but as a special device that bartenders and sommeliers use to store already opened bottles. The stopper seals the bottle tightly thanks to the side clips, so it can be stored for later use.
Thanks to these properties, the wine stopper is simply an indispensable gadget that allows you to preserve the taste and aroma of your favorite wine.
Remember that you should not keep an open bottle of sparkling wine or champagne at the bar, as carbon dioxide (CO2) evaporates, and the drink gradually loses its taste.
