Stop thinking about work!

Domestic troubles unsettle us: we work worse and get turned on half a turn in a conversation with colleagues. But the opposite was also confirmed: the stress that we experience outside the home, associated with the profession or social upheavals, can threaten family peace.

Domestic troubles unsettle us: we work worse and get turned on half a turn in a conversation with colleagues. But the opposite was also confirmed: the stress that we experience outside the home, associated with the profession or social upheavals, can threaten family peace. American psychologists Lisa Neff and Benjamin Karney (Lisa A. Neff, Benjamin R. Karney) completed a study in which they observed the development of relationships of 228 married couples. It turned out that during periods when the level of stress outside the home is high, partners tend to associate their irritation, resentment and fatigue with problems in their family. They are more likely to fixate on minor family disagreements and quarrels, which at other times, as a rule, go unnoticed. So, when returning home, do not forget to leave everything superfluous outside the threshold!
