Ingredients:

  • stomachs – 0,8 kg;
  • onion – 4 pcs .;
  • carrots – 1 pcs .;
  • spices, salt and pepper;
  • sunflower oil.

Preparation:

  • Pour boiling water over the stomachs, cut, but not completely, so that both halves are connected. Carefully peel off the inner film using a knife. Rinse, cut into pieces and rinse in water. Simmer in a dry skillet until excess water evaporates. Then add some oil.
  • Finely chop the onion and add to the pan. Grate the carrots coarsely and add there. After 5-7 minutes, pour in a little water. Reduce heat and simmer over low heat for about 2 hours.
  • At the end of cooking, season with salt, pepper and spices.

If stomachs are removed from young birds, they can be cooked faster. These stews have a dense structure, but the meat itself is tender, juicy and soft.

These offal can be stewed not only in sour cream, but also in mayonnaise, soy or tomato sauce. Ready stomachs are used to prepare the first and second courses.
