Stewed cabbage with meat: the perfect combination. Video

Cabbage is rich in vitamins, minerals and fiber that the body needs. This vegetable can be eaten in any form: pickled, fresh, boiled and stewed. Try stewing cabbage with meat for lunch or dinner. Using a slow cooker, you can whip up this dish.

Cabbage stewed with pork and yogurt: a recipe

To cook cabbage stewed with pork in a slow cooker, you will need the following ingredients: – 600 grams of pork; – 500 grams of cabbage; – 1 carrot; – 1 bell pepper; – 1 large onion; – spices for pork; – 1 cup (250 grams ) natural yoghurt; – vegetable oil.

Cooking cabbage with pork in a slow cooker will take you less than an hour

Chop and salt the cabbage. Cut the onions into half rings, then grate the carrots on a coarse grater. Rinse the pork, let the water drain from it, then cut the meat into small pieces. Turn on the multicooker, put a bowl of onions in it, select the “Baking” or “Browning” mode.

Pour in the vegetable oil and leave the onion to fry. After a few minutes, when the onion has softened, add the spiced pieces of pork. After 15 minutes, put carrots, cabbage and peppers in a slow cooker, then turn on the “Stew” mode and leave the dish to cook for 30-40 minutes. Pour the cooked stewed cabbage with yogurt.

Cabbage stewed with potatoes and meat: a recipe

For cooking cabbage with meat and potatoes you will need: – 500 grams of meat; – 500 grams of cabbage; – 1 onion; – 200 grams of sour cream; – 1 carrot; – spices, pepper, salt to taste; – 2 tbsp. l. tomato paste; – 2-3 potatoes; – vegetable oil; – greens.

Cut the meat into small pieces, grate the peeled carrots on a coarse grater, finely chop the peeled onion. Then pour vegetable oil into the multicooker and set the “Fry” mode. Fry the meat, turn off this mode. After that, dilute the tomato paste with sour cream.

Pour the cabbage into the multicooker, then pour the cooked tomato-sour cream mixture over it and set the “Stew” mode for 1–1,5 hours. Throw the peeled, peppered and salted potatoes into the container half an hour before the end of cooking. After the beep, add finely chopped greens, some pepper and salt, then stir. Cabbage stewed with meat and potatoes in a slow cooker is ready.

Cabbage stewed with meat dumplings in a slow cooker: a recipe

To stew cabbage with meat dumplings for 6 servings of the dish you will need: – 400 grams of cabbage; – 150 grams of carrots; – 80-100 grams of onions; – 200 grams of minced meat; – 300 ml (1,5 cups) water; – 40-50 grams of vegetable oil; – spices, salt, pepper, bay leaf – to taste; – 30-40 grams of pumpkin (optional).

Defrost the minced meat. If you do not use purchased minced meat, but your own preparation, do not forget to pepper and salt it. To make the meat even more tender, you can add a little pumpkin pulp, grated on a fine grater, to it. Make small dumplings from the minced meat and place them in a skillet with sunflower oil. Fry for 3 minutes on each side.

Thinly chop the cabbage, grate the peeled carrots. Chop the peeled onion finely. Place vegetables in a bowl, add dumplings, pepper, salt, spices, oil, bay leaf and water. Set the “Stew” program on the multicooker for one hour. Serve the cooked cabbage stewed with meat dumplings.
