Approximately the same processes as in the sphere of religion are taking place in the sphere of science. He is inclined to unconditionally accept (epileptoids — critically) the position of the newly-minted paranoid scientist, his doctrine, he participates in his scandalous scientific shows, which amaze the imagination with the denial of previous truths and the opened up prospects for the conquest of nature, the development of industry, the simplification of labor, the improvement of people. And, as usual, later they will be joined by epileptoids, who will make up a truly scientific guard, and our hysteroid will leave, most likely after a quarrel, to another paranoid scientist or pseudoscientist and will shine it with reflected light and create a halo around him.
There are not so many hysteroids in science, more and more schizoids, paranoid and epileptoids. But it can be pleasant for a hysteroid to shine on the scientific platform, to be ranked among scientists.
And then this or that status professor, carried away by a pretty student, accepts her for graduate school, writes a dissertation for her, well, not completely writing instead of her, but messing around, correcting texts, publishing articles in collaboration with her.
And you look — she pushed around, pushed around and defended herself, at the age of twenty-five she was already a candidate of sciences. To dilute the boring scientific community, it seems to be not even so bad. But if, God forbid, there were a lot of hysteroids in science and they all tried only to shine, then it would no longer be science, but a continuous theater.
