Steamed omelet is a dish that is ideal for dietary and baby food. An airy omelet can be made for breakfast or an afternoon snack to help you forget about hunger until your next meal.
Steamed omelet with orange juice
A delicious airy omelet can be prepared not with milk, but with natural orange juice. To do this, you will need: – 3 chicken eggs; – 1 orange; – salt to taste; – parsley.
Remove half of the zest from a juicy large orange and grate it on a fine grater. Squeeze the juice out of the orange. Beat the eggs with a mixer, then combine them with orange juice and grated zest, salt. Whisk the egg-orange mixture well and pour into special forms. Put them in a double boiler, cook the omelet for 15 minutes. Decorate the finished dish with chopped herbs.
Airy omelet with herbs and cheese
A steamed omelet will turn out to be especially tender and fragrant if you add dried dill and oregano to it, and sprinkle with grated cheese on top. Spicy lovers can season the dish with red pepper. For such an omelet, you will need: – 2 chicken eggs; – 8 tablespoons of milk; – 1,5 teaspoons of butter; – 50 grams of hard cheese; – salt to taste; – a pinch of dried dill; – a pinch of oregano; – ground red pepper taste.
Using a whisk, mix the eggs and salt, then add the milk to them and beat the mixture well. In the process of whisking, add dill, oregano and ground red pepper to the egg-milk mass.
If you don’t have a steamer, you can use a water bath. To do this, put the dish with the omelet in a saucepan of water and cook on the stove over medium heat.
Grease the molds with butter, pour the omelet over them, sprinkle it with cheese grated on a coarse grater on top. Put the dish to cook in a double boiler for 8-10 minutes, serve with a small piece of butter and rye bread.

Break the eggs into a deep bowl, salt, add milk and beat with a mixer. Pour the whipped mixture into molds and cook in a double boiler for 10 minutes. Garnish the finished dish with bell pepper rings and parsley sprigs.
