Starazolin hydrobalance are eye drops that give dry, tired and irritated eyes a long-lasting feeling of moisturizing. They work immediately after application, and therefore provide an immediate effect of relief and hydration of the eye mucosa.

Starazolin hydrobalance – ingredients

Composition: Aqueous solution of Starazolin HydroBalance eye drops contains: sodium hyaluronate, sodium chloride, sodium orthophosphate and sodium perborate stabilized with phosphonic acid.

The active ingredient in Starazolin HydroBalance is hyaluronic acid, which has strong moisturizing properties. It is a component that occurs naturally in the human body. It is one of the components of the tear film. Hyaluronic acid moisturizes the surface of the eye and soothes irritation caused by external factors (e.g. cigarette smoke, contact lenses).

The remaining ingredients have a soothing and antibacterial effect. They eliminate the feeling of dryness, irritation, eye fatigue and the feeling of sand in the eyes.

Starazolin hydrobalance – indications

Starazolin HydroBalance drops are recommended when:

  1. eyesight is exposed to the adverse effects of external factors: smoke, dust, UV radiation, heat, air conditioning, wind, cosmetics, chlorinated water,
  2. eyesight is overloaded by reading for too long, watching TV or working in front of the computer,
  3. the person has dry eye syndrome (too few tears),
  4. eyesight deteriorates with age (after 40 years of age),
  5. we regularly wear contact lenses and feel dry and irritated eyes.

Starazolin HydroBalance – application

The preparation is intended only for external use, for independent use.

Usage: Usually 1 or 2 drops are administered, 3 to 5 times a day. Before using the drops, you should take care of hand hygiene. Starazolin HydroBalance drops are sprinkled into the conjunctival sac. As with any drops, use care when instilling to avoid contamination of the applicator. If, despite the use, the symptoms do not improve or worsen, discontinue use and consult an ophthalmologist.

Starazolin HydroBalance – contraindications

Starazolin HydroBalance drops should not be used in the case of hypersensitivity to any of the ingredients of the preparation.

Additional Information about Starazolin HydroBalance

Before using the preparation, check the expiry date, the protective band, the consistency and the color of the drops to make sure that the product is fresh. The drops should be used within 8 weeks of the first application.

Precautions: do not store above 25ºC. Keep out of the reach of children. In case of simultaneous use of other eye drops, Starazolin HydroBalance drops should be applied last, taking 5 minutes break from the administration of the previous preparation.

Do not mix or dilute Starazolin HydroBalance drops with other liquids, as this may affect the loss of sterility and change the effectiveness of the drops.

The drops can be used by contact lens wearers. Patients who wear contact lenses should consult an ophthalmologist before using any ophthalmic preparations.

Starazolin HydroBalance – adverse reactions

When using Starazolin HydroBalance drops, some people may experience conjunctival redness, a burning sensation or blurred vision. If the discomfort or irritation continues, stop using the drops and consult a specialist doctor.
