To effectively remove coffee stains, you will need: – a container with a wide bottom; – a towel or napkins; – bleach; – vinegar; – clay powder; – wax paper; – a toothbrush; – an iron.
Prepare a solution by mixing water and vinegar in a container. To prevent the paper carrier from being damaged, water should be ¼ of the total volume of the solution, and the vinegar should be ¾. Submerge the stained page in the solution until it is completely saturated.
Then remove the document from the liquid and blot it with a towel or napkin. Replace dry wipes as they get wet. Saturate the paper until it is practically dry.
If the stain remains, use a chlorine bleach solution to remove it by mixing one part with three parts water. Soak a soft-bristled toothbrush in the solution and scrub the coffee stain with it. When doing this, be very careful to keep mechanical stress to a minimum. Wipe off excess moisture with paper towels.
Place the dry document between two sheets of waxed paper and iron with an iron. Heat treatment at a low temperature to prevent ink bleeding.
