A stack is a type of small glass, the volume of which can be from 20 to 100 ml.
Often found under the name of a shot or a shot glass, they have a different shape, but the classic is considered to be a stack, which has a straight cylindrical (sometimes conical) shape with a thick bottom.
For what use
As a rule, a stack is used in bars for serving spirits: vodka, rum, tequila, as well as puff cocktails that are drunk in one gulp.
Advice from Shake
Many bartenders advise having twice as many shots on the bar as old fashioned glasses.
In addition to stacks, they also use glasses for vodka, which have a characteristic low leg.
Usually, the volume of a glass is the same as that of a shot glass, but they should not be used for serving cocktails, but only for pure drinks.
