Squirrel, doll and fox: how types of eyelash extensions change the look
Fatal or tender? With the help of building, you can not only change the image, but also correct some defects in appearance.
Types of eyelash extension with photo
Extension is one of the fastest ways to achieve thicker and longer lashes. The variety of lengths, curves and volumes of cilia allows you to adjust the shape of the eyes and build the look exactly the way you want. In addition, colored eyelashes can also be used. This will brighten the look.

What types of extensions are there and who are they suitable for?
Squirrel – will correct the “crying look”
As you might guess, this effect is named after the animal for a reason – it visually resembles the tassels on the squirrel’s ears. The longest cilia are glued in the outer corners of the eye, and the rest are distributed along the entire length of the eyelid, alternating between long and short.
Who is suitable for: squirrel-like build-up will perfectly cope with the correction of the look of the “falling” eyes. This is exactly the case when the outer corner of the eye is noticeably lower than the inner one, which is sometimes called a “crying” look. The task of the lash master is to visually raise the outer corner of the eye with the help of cilia. The impression of a “falling eye” can also be created by naturally straight eyelashes. In this case, choose cilia with a pronounced bend (for example, D bend).
Fox – will give the eyes an almond shape
The fox type of extension is one of the most popular. Most often it is chosen by girls with almond-shaped eyes, as well as those who like to draw arrows with eyeliner. The fox look is a little similar to the squirrel, but it is distinguished by its smoother transition from short cilia at the inner corner of the eye to the longest at the outer one.
Who will suit: The fox effect is recommended for girls with close-set eyes. How to determine your eye shape? If the distance between the eyes is less than the length of the eye itself, then they are considered close-set. It is the fox effect that will help to visually arrange them.
You can also use the fox effect to correct round eyes. If a white space is visible above and below the iris of the pupil, which is not closed by the eyelids, the eyes are round. When correcting this shape with the help of the fox effect, the eyes will appear almond-shaped.
Puppet – will make your look more expressive
The puppet effect is achieved by gluing long cilia in the center of the eyelid, thus giving the eyes a more rounded shape. On the outer and inner corners of the eyes, the cilia will be slightly shorter to achieve a smooth transition.
Who is suitable for: the puppet effect is recommended for owners of wide-set eyes, when the distance between them is more than the length of one eye. This type of extension visually compensates for free space and corrects the look. I must say that wide-set eyes look attractive anyway, so making a puppet effect is not necessary.
It should be mentioned that this effect will not work for round eyes, the eyes will become too wide.
Sparse effect – for the party
This type of extension is extremely rare, as it looks more festive and is more suitable for photo shoots, parties or special events. During the extension process, long and short eyelashes alternate along the entire length of the eyelid. This type of build-up can be found under the name “Kim Kardashian effect”.
The sparse look can be combined with any other, for example, with a squirrel, fox or puppet.
Who will suit: The longest thinned eyelashes can be called “rays” protruding over the rest of the eyelashes. This type of extension is perfect for those with deep-set eyes, in which the browbone is often more pronounced. The longest “rays” will help to visually stretch your eyes, increase their size and open your gaze
