Squids are very popular with housewives. And not only because they do not “bite” at the price, but also because of their taste. Especially often squid is added to salads, although independent dishes are also good if prepared correctly. For example, if they are stewed with sour cream. And this can be done according to several recipes.

Squid stewed in sour cream

Squid stewed in sour cream with garlic

You will need: – 1 kg of squid; – 2 cloves of garlic; – 300 g of sour cream; – dill; – pepper and salt.

Remove the film from the squid. To do this, immerse them in boiling water frozen for a couple of seconds, after which the film will come off easily. Cut out the cartilage, then put the squid in hot salt water and cook for no more than 4 minutes. Remove, cool and cut into rings.

Chop the chives, chop the dill. Put chopped squid, garlic, herbs in a deep frying pan. Season with salt to taste, sprinkle with black pepper and sour cream. Place the skillet over low heat and simmer the squid for three minutes. Serve alone or with potatoes.

You cannot cook or fry squid for a long time, their meat will become harsh

Squid with onions and hot peppers in sour cream

You will need: – 1 kg of squid; – 250 g sour cream; – 2 onion heads; – 1 tbsp. l. tomato hot sauce; – 1 tbsp. l. flour; – vegetable oil for frying: – a pinch of red hot pepper; – salt to taste.

Peel the squid and cut into rings. Salt. Peel the onion and chop it into half rings. Place the onion in a skillet with butter and saute until golden brown, add the chopped squid and fry for another 2-3 minutes, then sprinkle with flour and cook for another minute. Combine the tomato hot sauce with sour cream and pour over the squid. Then sprinkle with red hot pepper to taste. Stir and simmer for 3-4 minutes. Take boiled potatoes or rice for a side dish.

Stuffed squid in sour cream

You will need: – 5-6 squid; – 500 g of champignons; – 200 g of cheese; – 5 eggs; – 2 onions; – 50 g butter; – 500 g sour cream; – green onions; – cockerel greens; – 1 tbsp. flour: – salt and pepper.

Peel the onion and chop into cubes. Slice the mushrooms. Saute the onions and mushrooms in butter. Boil eggs, peel and cut. Grate the cheese. Combine onions with mushrooms, eggs and cheese, add chopped green onions, salt and pepper to taste. This will be the filling.

Dip the eggs hot in cold water for easy cleaning.

Peel the squid, fill them with the filling, and seal the edges with toothpicks. Place in a cauldron or saucepan with a non-stick surface. Mix sour cream, flour, salt and pepper. Pour squid with this sauce and simmer for 15 minutes over low heat. Sprinkle with parsley.
