Adonis

Aphrodite was dripping blood from her legs, and her footprints were everywhere. Finally, the goddess ran to Adonis, who was already lifeless. Leaning over his body, Aphrodite ordered that beautiful scarlet flowers grow in the place where the blood of Adonis was. Indeed, at the site of the death of the young man, a beautiful anemone flower (modern adonis) grew, which blooms every spring with the first rays of the sun, and scarlet roses appeared in places where Aphrodite’s blood dripped.

Children take half a teaspoon 3 or 5 times a day, but adults are allowed to drink a whole teaspoon. An indication for the use of this infusion is increased nervous excitability.

Do not forget that adonis is a poisonous plant! Pregnant women should absolutely not use the tincture of this plant, because it causes a miscarriage. Ulcers are also prohibited from using this plant.
