Sneezing, runny nose, itchy and watery eyes are just a few examples of ailments experienced by allergy sufferers. Unfortunately, allergies make everyday functioning difficult for both those who work and have to concentrate on the tasks they perform, as well as those resting, enjoying the charms of spring and summer. Probably everyone would like to forget about bothersome symptoms, but is it possible without side effects such as slowing down your thinking or concentration disorders?

The most common form of allergy is rhinitis. It occurs in 24-30% of allergic people diagnosed by doctors and is responsible for nasal congestion, runny nose, sneezing and itching. These symptoms occur precisely in the most beautiful months of the year, when it is warm and pleasant outside, and we often go on weekend trips and longer holidays.

Probably not all of us are aware of what specific pollen causes a sneezing attack and other allergy symptoms. Some people experience the first symptoms in February, others only in April, May or even in autumn. The greatest “peak” of allergies lasts until the end of the holidays.

The symptoms of allergies, as well as the side effects of some antiallergic medications, can make us less focused, alert, and have a reduced reaction time. Processes such as psychomotor correctness, memory, learning, and decision making are disturbed. Why do we need this knowledge? If, for example, we are drivers or we operate machinery at work, we should be extremely careful and look for a solution that will help us alleviate the symptoms of allergy, and at the same time will not cause side effects.

People struggling with allergies usually know that they are allergic to pollen, although they are not always able to indicate which specific symptoms are responsible. Most also use antiallergic medications recommended by a doctor to alleviate allergic rhinitis and coexisting symptoms.

Knowing that the plant begins to dust and that there is daily contact with the allergen, but without symptoms in the patient, you can take action and apply medications in advance, even one or two weeks in advance. Thanks to this, possible symptoms will appear with a long delay and will be less bothersome. It is always a good idea to discuss your medication regimen with your treating physician or pharmacist

Runny nose, sneezing, watery eyes. You get the feeling it’s about you because you recognize the symptoms. And most of the time you wait for them to pass by themselves? Nothing could be further from the truth, these are the same symptoms of inhalation allergy that you have every year. Moreover, they affect nearly half of Poles?

As soon as sneezing, stuffy nose or red eyes appear, it is worth starting self-treatment as soon as possible. Modern antihistamines, such as Allegra, effectively fight allergy symptoms, and at the same time do not make you heavier, reduce concentration or slow down your thinking2.
