Of the greens in salads, only parsley, dill and onions are often used, completely unreasonably forgetting such a useful plant as spinach. Its benefits have long been appreciated by residents of European and Asian countries, on whose tables it is found quite regularly. At the same time, the flavor combinations of other products with spinach can be completely varied, which makes it possible to prepare a variety of salads for every taste.
Spring spinach salad
To prepare spring salad, take: – a bunch of spinach; – a bunch of radishes; – 2 cucumbers; – a can of canned peas; – 2 boiled eggs; – salt and pepper to taste; – sour cream for dressing.
Grate eggs, chop all other ingredients and mix together. Add the peas to the salad without the liquid in the jar. All that remains is to season the spinach salad with sour cream, and it is ready to be served, and this is not the only option that can be made from spinach.
Light salad
Body-conscious people will love this fresh spinach recipe with only leafy greens. For him, take: – salad mix or leaves of several varieties of lettuce; – a bunch of young spinach; – 5 walnuts; – 1 tablespoon each of vegetable oil, vinegar and lemon juice.
Make a salad dressing by mixing vegetable oil, vinegar, and lemon juice. Tear lettuce and spinach leaves with your hands, mix and place on a plate. Sprinkle them with chopped walnuts on top and drizzle with the dressing.
If you want to get a more satisfying salad or diversify the existing taste, then you can add 30 g of finely grated cheese to the mix, and squeeze a clove of garlic into the dressing
For a vegetable salad you need: – 10 quail eggs; – a bunch of spinach; – a branch of cherry tomatoes; – mayonnaise; – salt and pepper to taste.
Hard-boiled eggs and cut in half, as well as cherry tomatoes. It is preferable to take spinach for this salad young, with small leaves, so that they can be put in the salad whole or with torn hands into several parts. Mix everything in a large bowl. Season the salad with mayonnaise just before serving, as leafy greens do not tolerate prolonged contact with dense sauces and lose their shape.
Spinach and Mushroom Salad
To prepare a salad with spinach and mushrooms, you need: – 1 onion; – a bunch of spinach; – 300 g of champignons or other mushrooms; – 100 g of sour cream; – salt to taste.
Scald the chopped onion rings with boiling water, mix with chopped spinach and fried mushrooms. Instead of champignons, you can also use oyster mushrooms or wild mushrooms, and instead of fresh – frozen spinach. As a dressing, not only sour cream is suitable, but also a sauce with spinach, which is prepared by mixing sour cream with herbs and spices chopped in a blender.
