Protection against damage to the light bulb is provided by a shade made of super-resistant and impact-resistant plastic. Such material is difficult to split even with a heavy stick. The luminaire body is protected from opening by special self-tapping screws that cannot be unscrewed with a regular screwdriver.
One of the reasons for the decision to start an experiment on the introduction of new technologies in the field of housing and communal services was the desire of the authorities to help the residents of the district in saving electricity. A similar short-term experience, conducted at the end of last year in the Yuzhnoportoviy District, showed that the use of “smart lamps” can save up to forty-five percent of the energy consumed.
