Special IPA: Red (Red IPA)

Craft ale, based on the American IPA, used to be an amber ale, a moderate malt profile that is more pronounced than in other Indian ales serves as a reminder of those times. Drinkable, strong, light-bodied, with a bright hop flavor.

Malt adds notes of caramel, toffee, dark fruits to the bouquet, although there is no sweetness in the taste. The finish is moderately dry. The hop profile is manifested by nuances of fruits, citruses, spices, needles, resins – this parameter depends on the selected hop and is left to the discretion of the manufacturer. The best representatives of the style have a hint of fresh hops, but the herbal aspects should be minimal or absent. The combination of malt and hops should be balanced, but with a bias towards bitterness.

The fermentation character may be clean, but a slight fruity-yeasty flavor does not go against style standards.

In the mouth, the red IPA feels mild, not harsh, and may sting slightly on the tongue. It is made with the addition of caramel malt, sometimes slightly toasted, and sugar.

Similar to American Strong Ale, but less malty and more hoppy than American Amber Ale.

The color of the drink varies from amber to copper, turbidity is allowed only in unfiltered versions. Forms a long-lasting creamy foam in the glass.
