SPA on the island of Sardinia

It so happened that at the time of writing this text I was in Italy, where with bated breath I watched the developments at the European Football Championship. Naturally, on the day when the fight for a place in the semifinals was between the teams of Italy and Spain, I was rooting for the Italians. And I couldn’t even imagine how a team from a country where everything is done with all the heart and pleasure can lose! After being sad with the local population about the accidental (I’m sure!) Victory of the opponents, I went to the luxurious Chakra SPA in Sardinia. Well, in something, but that Italians know how to relax and, most importantly, can organize everything in such a way that a vacation in their blessed country will bring incredible pleasure to both locals and foreigners, I was one hundred percent sure.

Of course, I had plenty of other motives for this trip. Firstly, many of my friends have long chosen Sardinia as an ideal summer destination. Sun, sea, delicious food, excellent wine, first-class service, cheerful and friendly people … Is there anything else you need? Secondly, it was there that the first SPA opened its doors, where you can try professional procedures of an amazing and very “Italian” brand Acqua di Parma… I love this brand very much, but before the trip I knew it better from the “perfumery” side. Well, a great excuse to get to know each other more closely! Well, the third motive is impossibly simple – I love Italy very, very much.

I prepared for the spa trip – back in Moscow I tried some cosmetic products from the Blu Mediterraneo SPA line. They made an indelible impression on me. The salt scrub with aromatic oils melted on the skin, leaving it tender and soft, the airy eye cream gave unearthly freshness and erased any hint of fatigue, the aromatic body oil gave the skin a noble satin shine … So I expected even more pleasure from the SPA.

What do you think is the key to the success of any spa procedure? For example, I am sure that a noticeable cosmetic result is only half the battle. The second half is a great mood, which comes from the first minute of the procedure and does not end for several more days. Otherwise, the girls, as before, would go to cosmetologists in medical institutions. Now I know that the specialists working in Chakra SPA know about it too! How else to explain the fact that before the procedure you are offered to “taste” four enchanting scents – relaxing Arancia di Capri, energetic Cipresso di Toscana, enveloping Mandorlo di Sicilia and restoring strength Fico di Amalfi – and choose the one that best suits your momentary mood? I chose the first one, although in my “ordinary” life I prefer Fico di Amalfi … (However, I have all four at home.) foot massage I entered the massage room, everything around was saturated with my today’s emotions. It’s incredible that a couple of drops of perfume can do this! Signature massage from Acqua di Parma deserves a separate word – a combination of many techniques plus luxurious oils will bring you and your body to a euphoric state in just an hour.

Leaving the spa with some sadness, I went outside and spent a few more minutes enjoying the view of the Mediterranean Sea. This is another reason why I love Italy – she is lucky not only with the people who create the interiors, but also with the landscapes outside the window of these interiors. No contradiction – and this rarely happens anywhere.
