Soventol – indications and dosage
Soventol indications: itching and inflammatory changes accompanying skin diseases, hives, insect bites, contact with certain plants, sunburn (without blistering reaction), superficial skin burns (XNUMXst degree).
Dosage: use several times a day, not more often than every 30 minutes. If possible, gently massage the gel into the skin.
Soventol and contraindications
Contraindication to the use of Soventol are:
- hypersensitivity to any component of the preparation,
- exudative and blistering skin diseases,
- do not use in newborns.
Soventol – warnings
- It is not recommended to use Soventol in the acute phase of exudative eczema, due to the possibility of exacerbation of the lesions.
- Before using the drug during pregnancy or breastfeeding, consult your doctor.
- In the first trimester of pregnancy, the drug should only be used when, in the physician’s opinion, the benefit to the mother outweighs the potential risk to the fetus.
- Breastfeeding women should not use Soventol Gel on the nipple area.
- There are no studies on the effect of Soventolna gel on the ability to drive motor vehicles.
Soventol – interactions
There are no known interactions of Soventol with other drugs.
Soventol – side effects
- Hypersensitivity reactions are rare during treatment with Soventol. Occasionally, a transient local burning sensation (especially in the mucous membranes) may occur after application of the gel. The use of the drug on a large area of the skin, especially in inflammatory conditions, may cause systemic reactions such as:
- fatigue in adults and psychomotor restlessness,
- pupil dilation and confusion in children.
All side effects disappear after discontinuation of the preparation.
