– Dad really liked one house. But when I decided to take a closer look at it, prices went up a lot. Mom suggested paying attention to the cottage village nearby, which is just beginning to be built. I arrived, there were three houses, including our future one. I liked it, although it was without windows, cladding, decoration. I decided to buy it.

The guys who were doing the repairs asked: “Are you not afraid?” Then the crisis began, the exchange rate skyrocketed, everyone around them stopped buying everything and sat, waiting for what would happen next. And in this village, construction was just beginning, and there really were fears that it would get up, and everything would end on the three existing houses. But nothing could stop me, I decided to take a chance.

– Initially, the house did not even have walls, they were erected according to our project. I remember that for some reason I really wanted to make as many bedrooms as possible to accommodate guests and relatives. Once our wonderful developer came to see how things were going and asked: “Why do you need so many bedrooms on the second floor? Do you want a dressing room? ” I replied: “The closet is enough for me!” And then I realized that, of course, a dressing room is needed. She is sorely lacking in a Moscow apartment. And in her room I made both hers and her own bathroom.

Mom dreamed of a vegetable garden, but we found a compromise: behind the house there are two of her cherries and three currants, and in the courtyard there is a flower garden.

– In principle, I am not a lover of gigantism, comfort is more important than a huge area, so our house is not very large, but just the way it should be. I did the repairs in it with the designers with whom I work not for the first time, so there were no problems.

It all started with a fireplace, it appeared first, and for it we chose the style of decoration of the whole house, such a light classic. We thought about the kitchen for a long time, did not know how to arrange the furniture, because it is long and narrow. In the end, we decided to move the sink directly to the window, and it turned out great. You cook and watch the village life. And I chose white furniture with a golden patina because this combination adds air.

– The kitchen was made by a Russian company. She’s not very well known, but her employees do exclusive things. When I came to choose a typeface, I saw beautiful wood carvings. She stopped and looked at her for a long time with admiration. Our furniture was supposed to be smooth, but when I came to look at the finished product, I was in for a pleasant surprise – the part above the hood was decorated with the same carving.

I love our living room when we all get together in front of the fireplace, play board games or watch TV. This is a multifunctional place. I bought wrought-iron furniture for the garden last year, but there were showers all summer, we never took it out and left it in the living room. She took root here. When you sit at a table and look into the courtyard through a glass door, the feeling is very pleasant.

– My boys have a separate bedroom, a playroom, a spacious yard where you can ride a scooter. I would like to live here permanently, but the children study in Moscow, I have a job, and so far it is not working.

I have my own study with a modern piano. I am a pianist by profession and cannot live without an instrument. This is all my childhood, the classics on which I grew up. Nowadays they make modern instruments to which headphones are connected, and only you can hear the music. It is so convenient for apartment buildings. I remember how as a child I had to play hands before the exam: I sat at the piano at six or seven in the morning, and those around me were very upset by this neighborhood.

There are still some imperfections in the office, there is not enough of a large mirror, a music center with a microphone, so that you can rehearse without leaving your home. My music awards are temporarily on the fireplace, but their proper place is in the study.

– We live in the house with my mother and the cat Coconut. He appeared by accident. About three years ago he appeared in the village and lived mainly with the local guards. They gave him a name. I saw him periodically. The children began to reach out to him, and I myself liked him, I wanted to come up and stroke him. Once we fed him, and once we invited him to our house. He went in, walked, was surprised. The kids didn’t want to let him out. But I asked them to let him go, so that the cat would understand that we were not holding him, but we were waiting at any moment.

A series of such invitations has passed, and it has taken root. Turned out to be so affectionate! No purebred cat can replace this miracle for us. Coconut loves children and to be near, to warm you, to let yourself be stroked. Everyone in the village knows that this is our cat. He goes for a walk and sometimes far away, neighbors say: “We saw your Coconut in the field.” And, of course, he loves to dwell in the garden.

– By the way, before our yard became as cozy as it is, we had to work hard. There was a sharp drop in soil on the site. As soon as we bring in the land, it rolls off to the neighbors, and their land to us. Everything is crooked, askew. We poured a huge amount of concrete to level it. Under these neat paths, somewhere half a meter deeper, lie exactly the same ones that we laid earlier, but because of the drop, everything had to be redone. It wasn’t until I met a stunning girl landscape designer that she ennobled everything. It remains to work on the fence, replace it with a beautiful one, and put climbing plants on it. This year, hands did not reach, there was a lot of work, on September 18 the premiere of my new album “I choose you” took place.

Now I understand that dad was right. I can no longer live without this place. I am drawn here.
