The Boggs are a very unusual family. To begin with, they have four dogs, a cat and two ducks at home. Despite the fact that the animals are, to put it mildly, different, they get along well together. And no, Casey Boggs and her husband did not select such a strange company for themselves on purpose. All these animals ended up on the street, and the Boggs simply cannot walk past an animal in trouble.
Now all this menagerie is one inseparable flock. It is even impossible to photograph them separately. But with the whole herd, they pose with pleasure. Walking in the woods, hiking, traveling by car and just sitting in front of the TV – they are always together.
And then the Boggs had a baby. Baby Sonny.
“When we got him from the hospital, there was a whole committee waiting for us to meet,” Casey said. – All seven of our animals fell in love with Sonny from the very first minute. They treated him like their own child.
Curiously, each animal has its own way of showing affection for the baby. Mia, the cat that was adopted from the shelter, is always somewhere near Sonny. She constantly checks to see if anything is threatening him.
Roxy, the first dog to appear in the Boggs family, loves to nap with Sonny, guarding his sleep. Roxy is a Fox Toy Terrier, by the way.
Edith and Rosie, Rat Terrier and Pit Bull, are always ready to call their parents if the baby cries. In the meantime, Mom and Dad are in a hurry to help, they themselves console Sonny as best they can.
Jake, another pit bull, considers himself Sonny’s older brother. It is indispensable when you need to change a baby’s diaper.
– They perfectly understand how gentle they must be with the baby. And their affection is an example of what love should be surrounded by every baby, – Casey is sure.
