Start snowboarding
His reputation is well established. Snowboarding has become in a few years a very popular sliding sport among young people, sensations guaranteed! Obviously, your child has something to be tempted …
Snowboarding, for the sturdy little ones? This is saying something because, among the youngest, snowboarding is not always easy to practice. It requires strength and a certain physical form because the “snow” board is much heavier than skis. It is not for nothing that professionals recommend to wait until the age of 8 to start this sport. Rarely before, unless perhaps you benefit from private lessons …
Snowboarding, accessible to all
Do not believe that snowboarding is only for boys! The girls also handle the snowboard with ease, and as well as their little male comrades.
On the learning side, children (like adults!) Quickly get by and progress more quickly in snowboarding than in skiing. Not to mention the young people who have already practiced skateboarding before, so there, for them, it is even easier!
Little stars of the slopes! It’s impossible to talk about snowboarding without talking about the sport’s trendy outfits. The hyper trendy look of young and old is difficult to overlook on the ski slopes, and we often take full eyes! Yes, snowboarding is that too: a concentrate of allure and fun, punctuated by another philosophy of skiing. An explosive cocktail that has everything to please children! |
Snowboard protections for my child
On the slopes, wearing a helmet is strongly recommended to avoid head injuries. Young snowboarders can also wear wrist guards and back protection for even more safety.
And beware of ski lifts, the bête noire of snowboarders! Because it is rather difficult to keep your balance on a snowboard in full ski lift. Better to orient yourself towards the conveyor belts or the chairlifts when possible. Less risk of falling!
