Snow tubing: a family vacation sport
Don’t know how to ski? Are you looking in the direction of snowboards with caution? Cheer up – humanity has come up with an excellent replacement for them in the form of snow tubing. Where in Moscow on New Year’s holidays you can go snow tubing and how to do it correctly, says Woman’s Day.
Sledge-cheesecakes
Snow tubing (or just tubing) is a round inflatable sled for skiing downhill in winter. They are small for children, large for adults and huge for several people. The cheesecake sled is made of durable PVC fabric, and a car camera is placed inside. The camera absorbs the unevenness of the track, and skiing downhill is comfortable and safe.
You can ride such inflatable cheesecakes from any snow-covered slopes – as long as there are no trees and stones. However, it is best to go with tubing to special prepared tracks in the form of a gutter. Rolling along the gutter, the tubing follows its curves, and riding becomes a great pleasure!

Where to go tubing
You can go snow tubing everywhere – if only there is a slide. But for one hundred percent high-quality skiing, it is better to go to the ski complex – there are snow tubing tracks on almost every one of them. What are the advantages of such complexes? Firstly, you will have a really interesting trail for skiing, and not the usual descent. Secondly, you don’t have to drag your tubing uphill every time – the lifts will do this for you, you just need to sit in the “cheesecake”.
The disadvantages of ski resorts and resorts are that you need to go to them. Often for a long time. In addition, you have to pay for the ride. However, if you come there with your tubing, the expense is unlikely to be shocking.
