Christmas lights dress the streets. The windows shine brightly. At every street corner, you can feel the atmosphere of the end of the year celebrations. All that’s missing is a bit of snow to fully get in the mood. Precisely, today is released on the screens, a Norwegian animated film which is right in the theme: Snow for Christmas. It’s almost Christmas at Pinchcliffe. All the inhabitants are impatiently waiting for the snow to fall. But, she is slow to come. What despairs Solan, a bird however optimistic and Ludvig, a little reckless hedgehog. Their friend Feodor, a genius inventor, then decides to build a snow cannon. And there it works. The small village is more and more snowy. A little too much. We must quickly reverse things. Thanks to their friendship and their courage, Solan and Ludvig manage to save the village from a giant snowball. They can finally all prepare for Christmas Eve. With a nice surprise at the end of the day. The snow (the real one) begins to fall. A funny and quirky Christmas story. Characters from the Norwegian tradition. Music that sticks to the Christmas spirit. Without forgetting the technological prowess: the animation was carried out with puppets. The rendering is simply stunning.
