Snacks for a large company

When friends or relatives come to visit, I want to feed them tasty and satisfying. Prepare more appetizers-snacks that will satisfy your hunger, but will not discourage interest in duck or pizza baked in the oven. Or you can even do with some dips, delicious thick sauces, in which you can dip pieces of meat, fish and vegetables, seafood, bread, chips and fruit. This is the best food for a large company. In the USA and China, dipa sauces are very popular, because thanks to them, the taste of familiar dishes changes beyond recognition!

What is guacamole without bacon?

Mexican deep guacamole sauce is made from ripe avocado, mashed with lime or lemon juice, sometimes adding fresh tomatoes, garlic, bell pepper and fragrant herbs. Traditionally, guacamole is served with corn chips, and to make it more satisfying, add bacon to the guacamole. Are you surprised? But it’s really very tasty!

Dry 6 strips of bacon in the oven, preheated to 200 °C. After 20 minutes, put the bacon on a paper napkin to remove excess oil: no need for extra calories!

Chop 3 ripe avocados, add a few feathers of finely chopped green onions, a couple of sprigs of chopped coriander and diced bacon. Mix everything well, add salt, pepper and season with lime juice to taste. Place a nice snack on a dish, and sprinkle corn chips around the edges.

The sauce with avocado and bacon is called male, but it will also be appreciated by beautiful ladies!

Lots of yellow

Honey-mustard sauce, tender, velvety, spicy-sweet, ideal for grilled meat, fish and vegetables. To prepare it, you will need teriyaki soy sauce and turmeric — it will be quite oriental!

Mix 1 raw egg yolk, 2 tablespoons of ready-made mustard, 50 ml of liquid honey, 2 tablespoons of lemon juice and 1 tablespoon of teriyaki. The color of the dip will match the shade of honey, so if you have light honey, throw a pinch of turmeric to the ingredients. However, it will not hurt in any case, because it gives special taste notes. For a sharp dip, take Russian mustard, and for a milder sauce, Dijon is suitable.

Start whipping the sauce with an immersion blender, gradually adding 4.5 tablespoons of vegetable oil to it. The dip should be thick, homogeneous and very appetizing. At first it seems a little thin, but it will thicken well during the night in the cold.

This rich and bright sauce is wonderfully combined with pretzels and salted straws. You will like it!

Light and airy

There is nothing more delicious than a pepper dip baked in the oven, and even with cream cheese! To do this, you will need 2 red bell peppers, which you need to bake in the oven for half an hour at a temperature of 200 °C. Put the hot peppers in a bag and wait a little to easily remove the skin from the fruit. And of course, do not forget to remove the seeds.

Mix the cooled pepper, 30 g of walnuts, 2 cloves of garlic in a blender and chop well. And now add all the other products — 2 tablespoons of any cream cheese, 1 tsp olive oil, 0.5 tsp balsamic vinegar, 0.5 tsp honey, salt and a pinch of dried basil. Whisk the sauce again until fluffy and serve with croutons or chicken pieces.

You can add any spices and nuts to this light and almost airy dip — culinary fantasies are welcome!

Beans with peppercorn

White bean sauce will especially appeal to hummus lovers, since these dips are a little similar to each other. The recipe for the sauce belongs to Italian chefs, so white thin-skinned cannellini beans are used here. It is very tender, with a nutty taste and large bean sizes.

You can find cannellini in Russian stores, but not everywhere, so you can take the usual canned white beans. You will need 2 cans of 400 g each. Wash the beans, add to it half a tomato without seeds and skin, 4 tablespoons of cold-pressed olive oil, a little finely chopped basil, 5 cloves of finely chopped garlic, 2 tablespoons of lemon juice and the same amount of water, a pinch of salt and tabasco sauce to your taste. It will give the dip a piquant sharpness, which is sometimes so lacking in beans.

Whisk the sauce with a blender, and if it seems thick to you, add a little liquid left in the can. Put the dip in the refrigerator for a couple of hours — this way it turns out even tastier. You can cook ordinary dry beans, and not take canned food, but be sure to add vegetables and spices to the broth before cooking.

The joy of life

Beetroot dip is extremely bright and cheerful, and it looks so appetizing that you don’t want to share it with anyone!

Cook or bake 4 beets in the oven, peel them and grind them in a blender to a paste. Add 1 tablespoon of sesame thina and the same amount of high-quality olive oil to the beetroot. Crush a clove of garlic, squeeze out the juice of 1 lemon and mix it all with beet puree. Season with salt and pepper, and you can serve this festive dip with vegetable sticks, chips, crackers or salted crackers. It is very tasty to dip slices of bread, pita bread or pita into a beet dip.

Spicy fondue

Indian curry sauce is a feast of taste for lovers of Oriental cuisine. For Indian gourmets, there is nothing more appetizing and delicious than dipping pieces of meat, vegetables and tortillas in curry masala.  This is a real Indian fondue!

Fry 2 crushed garlic cloves in 2 tablespoons of butter, stirring constantly, until a pleasant garlic smell appears. Add 2 tablespoons of flour, lightly fry and pour in 250 ml of milk, stirring so that there are no lumps. Mix 3 tablespoons of tomato paste with 60 ml of water and also pour into the curry. And now throw all the spices into the sauce — 2 tsp. curry seasoning and turmeric, 1 tsp. ground paprika, cumin and peppers, 3 dried chili peppers and bay leaf. Cook the sauce, stirring, until it thickens slightly.

Pour in another 250 ml of milk and pour in 200 g of crushed hard cheese such as parmesan or cheddar. The bright and rich taste of the cheese will perfectly fit into the spicy dip. Mix well until the cheese melts, and serve the sauce with chapati and puri tortillas, with Indian mathi crackers and parathi puff loaves.

Citrus freshness

Sauces for desserts are easy to prepare and incredibly delicious, especially if you dip cookies, pieces of sponge cake and fruit in them. A delicate cheesecake dip with lime will appeal to all sweet tooths!

Beat 250 g of cottage cheese with a blender until smooth and remove the zest from 1 lime, and then add it to the cheese mass, leaving a little to decorate the dessert. Pour in the lime juice — about half or three-quarters of what you will be able to squeeze out of this fragrant fruit. Everyone has their own tastes!

Chop 5 peas of pink pepper and also throw in the cheese along with 4 tablespoons of sugar. Whisk the sauce again with a blender and put it in the refrigerator. Garnish with the remaining zest before serving. Yes, this dip is perfectly combined with strawberry flavor, crackers and cookies, so it is often served as an addition to desserts at parties.

Cream with chocolate

Desserts with chocolate sauce are always refined and elegant, especially if they are made from bitter chocolate with a small amount of strong alcohol.

You will be surprised how easy it is to prepare a thick and rich chocolate dip. Break 90 g of chocolate into pieces and melt it in the microwave together with 1 tbsp. l. butter and half a cup of heavy cream. Pour 1 tsp of natural vanilla extract and 1 tbsp of brandy or cognac into the chocolate mass. Mix well with the fat sour cream and turbinado sugar crystals.

Dip biscuits and cookies in the chocolate dip-it’s tastier than cakes!

Dips are good because they are prepared quickly and eaten slowly, so you can stretch the pleasure if you want. And most importantly, these sauces give you the opportunity to experiment with products, trying different combinations of flavors. If you like everything new and unusual, you will definitely like dips!
