Many people complain that during the day they do not have the opportunity to eat vegetables and herbs in the amount that they would like. It seems to me that the compromise in this situation can be morning vegetable juices or smoothies. I have already written about juices, but I will not tire of repeating how useful and correct way is to recharge with vitamins, minerals and other useful substances that fresh herbs and vegetables contain. For me juices and smoothies are an important part of life also because with their help my husband and I can “eat” those vegetables that we do not like raw and therefore do not get any benefit from them. For example, my husband hates beets, and he drinks juice or smoothies, where it is one of the ingredients, without batting an eye, and does not even realize that he has just “eaten” the hated vegetable.
In general, in this way we are ovitaminated, which is what I wish for you.
To help with this process, I will periodically write about interesting juice and smoothie recipes that I drink myself.
The first are these two options:
Smoothies:
a bunch of watercress (or any salad leaves), green apple, peeled lime, cucumber, 4 mint leaves, banana (optional), water or ice
Juice:
Beetroot, 2 celery stalks, yellow bell pepper, large cucumber, lemon (2 carrots optional)
